About the Role

As a Guest Experience Team (GET) member, you will be working with various services that we use to keep our game safe and fun for all guests. You will be responsible for moderating chat messages, in-game activity, in-game reports, and the VMK Legacy Discord Server. This role will require you to serve as an investigator into guest behaviors and concerns in addition to a mediator for guest disputes when deemed necessary. Your duty is to support and help guests have the best experience within our game. Above all else, a Guest Experience Team member is a safeguard for the VMK Legacy community, protecting all guests while upholding our values of fairness, equanimity, and respect.

Please note that Guest Experience Team members must deal with sensitive content and cases. We require applicants to be at least 18 years old due the content that may be covered within this role. Position Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of the GET Department, you will be be expected to:

1. Answer Calls For Help.
2. Moderate Public and Guest Rooms.
3. Moderate the VMK Legacy Discord Server.
4. Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events in-game and on the VMK Legacy Discord Server (when applicable).

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications have to be met.

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Must have a VMK Legacy account that is at least twelve months old.
3. Must be recently active in-game or in the community for at least six months. This means showing consistent activity for at least a couple days each week for a period of at least six months.
4. Have a deep understanding and ability to follow the VMK Legacy Rules. Having an account with active points will disqualify you for consideration.
5. Must be able to handle explicit language and inappropriate content.
6. Ability to identify and set aside personal biases.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Dedicated to protecting, fostering, and serving the VMKL community.
2. Ability to showcase and use sound moral judgement.
3. Possess basic levels of technical ability to interact and use internal moderation interfaces.
