📝 Public Relations
As a Public Relations team member, you will either be responsible for interacting with the VMKL community as well as sharing updates about the game via social media or creating media for our social channels and newsletter. The PR team strives to create a safe and positive space for the players to interact in.As a PR team member you will be required to:
- Work to advertise VMK Legacy through means of social media and community interaction. This includes writing posts designated for Twitter, Discord, and Instagram.
- Handle any issues that may arise on social media.
- Listen to the community and relay concerns to the team.
- Help to grow VMK Legacy's community and reach
- Interact with the community on a professional level. This includes in-game, social media, and Discord interactions.
In order to be considered for this role, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a VMK Legacy account that is at least six months old.
- Must be recently active in-game or in the community for at least four months. This means showing activity for at least a couple days each week for a period of at least four months.
- Have a deep understanding and ability to follow the VMK Legacy Rules. Having an account with active points will disqualify you for consideration.
📰 Graphic Design
As a Graphic Designer for Public Relations, you will be responsible for creating graphic materials for promotional purposes outside of the game. These designs MUST match the overall aesthetic of VMK Legacy promotional material currently being used. All designers must be comfortable using and have a familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe products. Digital Artists must also be comfortable receiving any constructive criticism regarding their work with the understanding that all promotional material must be approved before it is released to the public.As a PR Member focused on graphic design, you would be required to:
- Create graphics for the newsletters, social media channels, Discord, and the VMKL website
- Work to advertise VMK Legacy through means of social media and community interaction.

- Provide feedback to other Digital Artists
- Help to grow VMK Legacy's community and reach

🖌️ Digital Artist
As a Digital Artist, you will be responsible for creating items, such as clothing, furniture, and pins to be used in the game. These items must pay respect to the style of the original game. All Digital Artists must be comfortable with the isometric perspective style, and have a strong sense of how to style items in this way. Digital Artists must also be comfortable receiving any constructive criticism regarding their work with the understanding that items will not be released into the game until they are approved. Experience in 3D programs such as Blender or Maya is highly recommended.As a Digital Artist you will be expected to:
- Create furniture, pins, clothing, rooms, and UI elements for VMK Legacy
- Receive and implement feedback on any work
- Provide feedback to other Digital Artists

💻 Game or Web Development
At VMKL, we have Web Developers and Game Developers based on individual skills. The responsibilities below cover the breadth of what the Developer team does, but you don't need to be able to do all of them to join the team.As a developer, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining the game as well as the website and all online branches of VMKL.
Developer responsibilities:
- Code the game interface
- Add new features to the game
- Find bugs and working to fix them
- Respond promptly to any reported game issues
- Work on our internal web applications
- Regularly update, and create new features

In order to be considered for this role, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a VMK Legacy account that is at least six months old.

Ready to Apply?
We are excited to hear from you! Here is how our application process works for those interested in becoming a VMKL Staff Member:
- An applicant will submit a VMKL Staff Interest Form.
- Our Staff will review your interest form and decide whether you will be extended additional application(s) for a specific department.
- Once a decision has been made, our staff will approve or reject your interest form submission. Notification will be sent through in-game messages and can also be monitored at the same link where you submitted your interest form.
- Approved applicants we be provided a link to a department-specific application form to fill out.
- VMKL Staff will review the department-specific applications and approve or reject the submission.
- Approved department form submissions will be extended an offer to interview with the team.
- After the interview, VMKL Staff deliberate and communicate final steps and any potential offers.
