Enough of that, we have some serious business to attend to. One that includes addressing the elephant in the room. We're about to be surrounded by knights, witches, wizards, bards, & maidens (the fair kind)... but I had no idea I was surrounded by PSYCHICS! I've seen all the medieval/renaissance faire/Black Cauldron talk on Discord... someone has a crystal ball and saw the future, I just know it! I'm onto you... hehe

Anywho~ Welcome to "A Tale of Dungeons & Dragons"! All festival long we'll be jumping into a dangerous world of quests and ferocious beasts (aka me before breakfast). This festival is nothing short of an adventure and we're excited to take you along for the ride!

What? Are you surprised to see this section all the way up here? Well... it's simply because I couldn't wait ANY longer to tell you about the fun updates & features that have come to VMK Legacy. So let's get started...

We are proud to announce the expansion of our available skin tones!
This has been requested by many guests and we are excited to offer more customization for your beloved avatars. Check out the 'Character Preview' today to see these new skin tones in addition to the ones previously available.

 

An exciting update to 'Castle Fireworks: Remixed' has arrived! We have been hard at work, figuring out a good balance that honors the competitive nature of this fireworks mini-game while also allowing more opportunities to partake in the fun. Because of these changes, we are introducing brand new rewards!
- If you play by yourself or with 1 other friend: you'll earn credits as usual
- If you play with at least 2 others (3 total): you'll earn credits and you'll unlock the opportunity to earn a BONUS prize if you score at least 2,500 points (NOTE: you do not need to "win" or be in the TOP 3 to earn this bonus!)
- If you play with at least 5 people: you'll earn credits, access to the prize pool, and access to "competitive mode" -> this just means that if you place in the TOP 3, it'll be counted towards earning a cool medal that'll signify that you're a top fireworks player! (10 wins = Bronze, 40 = Silver, 90 = Gold)

We hope that these changes will allow more people to participate in the fireworks mini-game. As always, we look forward to hearing feedback in the coming days, weeks, and months of playtime! 

 

If you're ever curious to find out the latest advancements in the VMK Legacy world... the carousel of progress is the place to be! Well–aside from the newsletter of course! We're brainstorming new and exciting ways to capture all of the cool new additions; especially our new friends that are just joining us. SO... that being said, let's catch up on some particularly cool features that we've added. 



I. The Return of the OG Tutorial: You've probably already noticed this pop up (& I bet you clicked that 'Don't show these messages' button... how dare you! just kidding). The return of this feature means that new players get a full tour of the kingdom and all it's whistles and bells! 

Now... if you're STILL looking for more information you can always click the HELP button... 
& that'll open up the VMK Guide! 


To my long time Daily Dalmatian readers... if you find a new guest, PLEASE point them towards this useful information! 

 


II. Lists!
Are you an avid trader? If you are then that means you've created a list or two! They're the best way to list out what you're trading... but more importantly... what you're looking for! Because you can search up any item in game to add it to a list!
After you've created a public list: you can even share it to Discord to post about trades! 



Isn't that awesome!? 

PRO-TIP: When you have public lists... they're actually accessible on your lanyard at the bottom! That way anyone can click on your avatar and then see your lists. It's kind of like a mobile storefront!


Lists are also integrated with our Knowledge Base... so an item will show who has that specific item in a list of theirs!

 


III. Placing Photos on walls: You can now display your photos on walls again, just like in OG!

 

Lastly... a shout out to Knowledge Base! It continues to grow and be updated. A large part of that effort is thanks to YOU! Please continue to submit any missing KB entries via our website report form OR (NEW) in-game when you press the HELP button to report it!

OKAY... WOW! I know that was a lot (but SO exciting am I right?) I think you know the drill... as a thank you for reading this far down (but you have to promise that you'll keep reading... because theres WAY more exciting news below) everyone who reacts with a "🐲" on the newsletter announcement post on Discord by 9/3 will receive 2,000c!
- If there's at least (60) reactions by 9/3 then everyone will receive ANOTHER 2,000c and 2 Bronze, Silver, and Gold Pirate Treasure Keys!

Looking for even MORE fun? Make sure you join us at our next Community Event! Staff members from our Guest Experience Team (GET) regularly schedule fun activities and get togethers both in game and on Discord.

As a general rule of thumb, our community events do not explicitly give out prizes or rewards.



Once a month, guests can attend a pin trading event at the top of the guest rooms list, where they can trade pins with staff!

Guests can collect up to six exclusive pins, or trade for pins they’re missing if one appears on a staff member’s lanyard.
Please note that staff-exclusive pins are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis! Additional details, such as eligible pin criteria and how event-exclusive pins will be distributed, can be found on the event page. Be sure to review all information before attending!

💻 Game or Web Development – responsible for coding new in-game features and website content

📝 Public Relations – responsible for social media and writing publications used to promote the game

📰 Graphic Design – responsible for graphical content related to branding of the game (note: this role is under "PR" however if any interested applicants are specifically skilled in graphic design we would love for you to still apply!)
