Boy, that last festival really came and went huh? I heard something about Doctor Strange sending you to Asgard? Sounds like a vacation to me—but no! It was anything but a vacation wasn’t it?! I wonder who was mixing all those portals up 🤔… Regardless, this last festival was MARVEL-OUS! Get it? Marvel-ok anyways…
With the ending of the festival comes a resting period that we so lovingly call: Off Season! If you’re new with us here at VMK Legacy, we call these “buffer” periods Off Season (kinda like the parks)! Though, I’m not so sure you’ll find the lines for the rides to be any shorter because some of our guests want those Off Season goodies from the Sword-in-the-Stone. Don’t worry about missing us too much though because we’ll be back on the 1st of the following month!
Now, let’s get to business regarding this newsletter. As usual, make sure you’re reading along very carefully. Not because I’ve been hiding opportunities to earn credits 👀… but because there’s AWESOME news to share! Awesome news like a reminder that we are always looking for qualified and eager applicants for any of our needed roles! Thank you to everyone who participated in our Festival event series: THROUGH STRANGE PORTALS! We hope it was a fun experience. Though... now that all is said and done, only one question remains... WHO WAS MESSING WITH THOSE PORTALS? What was that "dark magic" that was interfering with our passage to Asgard? What was happening ALL ALONG?!
Some of you had some pretty good guesses! Some of you were correct, even! That's right... it was GROOT -- Oh wait, sorry I was looking at my notes from Flower Week... Oh shoot... I actually don't think I wrote the name down... But I do have this image captured by one of the sorcerer apprentices guarding the Sanctum Sanctorum.

What was her name...? Mrs. Hart? Sharon? L-Lilia? No... A....... Agnes! No that doesn't sound right either...

Some EXCITING news! As of today (6/16): POTC has now entered the Public testing phase! Anyone is free to give the mini-game a try and there is no need to wait for scheduled testing sessions if you haven't already been granted access to testing. Public testing will remain active until further notice, so please do enjoy yourselves (& tell your friends to try it out!)
As always we would greatly appreciate your participating in submitting bugs and/or observations in the designated "POTC" channel on our Discord server.
Reminder:
- This is still testing! Therefore all win counters & levels unlocked will be RESET when the mini-game is officially launched
- The treasure chests still contain credits until the mini-game is officially launched

The VMK Legacy Staff Team is looking for qualified applicants to join our team! At this time, we are searching for applicants for the positions in bold+underlined, however below is a description of all positions on the VMK Legacy staff team.
🖌️ Digital Artist – responsible for creating new in-game content including clothing, furniture, and pins
🎢 HOST – responsible for in-game events, including room creation and event supervision
💻 Game or Web Development – responsible for coding new in-game features and website content
📝 Public Relations – responsible for social media and writing publications used to promote the game
📰 Graphic Design – responsible for graphical content related to branding of the game (note: this role is under "PR" however if any interested applicants are specifically skilled in graphic design we would love for you to still apply!)
✨ Guest Experience Team – responsible for moderation of the game and Discord
The application will begin with general questions and then redirect you to questions for the specific department you are applying for.

VMK Legacy introduced 'The Legacy Contributor' program in efforts to give talented guests a way to contribute to the magic! We realize there are many players who have significant nostalgia related to the CL program, so we plan to expand the scope of our LC program to allow for players to contribute in ways that do not require digital art or graphic design skills in the future. At this time our program is not accepting applications as the program is being reimagined!
Wow! That was kind of a lot of information for Off Season wasn't it? As a thanks for making it this far go ahead and react to the Discord announcement post for this newsletter with a "🔮" before the game closes on 6/18 for 2,000c!
