The theme is……..FAIRY GARDEN
- You will have until closing on March 17th to build your creations.
- Room titles must be formatted exactly as such: “March Magic 2023 [Player Name]”.
- Room descriptions are required - give us the short story behind your inspiration!
- Rooms must be set to private - please do your best not to share room ideas or completed designs with fellow participants.
- Rooms must contain at least 20 furniture items to be considered for participation.
- Additionally, all rooms must have a continuous ride with at least 15 pieces (this means a minimum of 35 total furniture items must be in your room to qualify your entry.) Any and all ride track types will be permitted.
- Rooms must exhibit creativity, theming, and effort.
- Rooms that fail to illustrate a sense of vigorous attempt and conscientiousness will be disqualified. For example, rooms with less than the minimum furniture requirement, rooms with repeated furniture items that fail to be used constructively, rooms that appear to be lacking remote creativity, etc.
- Only one room may be submitted. There will be multiple rounds in the bracket portion of the competition with the same room going head to head in each round as it moves on.
The prizes are as follows:
Voting for each tier: 2,000 credits
Participation: 1 x Yeti Feet Slippers
Tier 3 winner (AKA moving past the first round of votes): 1 x March Madness Emblem - Bronze 5,000 credits
Tier 2 winner (AKA moving past the second round of votes): 1 x March Madness Emblem - Bronze 1 x March Madness Emblem - Silver 15,000 credits
Tier 1 winner (AKA winning the final round): 1 x March Madness Emblem - Bronze 1 x March Madness Emblem - Silver 1 x March Madness Emblem - Gold 30,000 credits

Welcome to “The Fantasyland Challenge”! We’re paying homage to the original ‘Fantasyland Quest’ experience that guests could embark on in the parks. Do you know Fantasyland like the back of your hand? Let’s find out! With a new challenge comes another chance to win our prizes!
Part 2: This challenge will focus on the Fantasylands in the Parks around the world! It will open on March 13th 9AM EST and close along with the game on March 24th 1AM EST (Technically the 25th!)
Make sure you answer carefully as resubmissions (and/or multiple submissions) will not be accepted. We have a channel created for requesting assistance (via DM!) amongst your friends, help each other out!

BGR Timeframe Updates
We have some big news to share regarding timeframes for our Best Guest Room and Best Game Room events. Beginning in April 2023, BGR competitions will be held quarterly. The timeline is as follows:
January 1st - Last day of March *Winter Session*
April 1st - Last day of June *Spring Session*
July 1st - Last day of September *Summer Session*
October 1st -Last day of December *Fall Session*
By implementing this change, we are hoping that builders will have ample time to showcase their creativity, and that in turn will give VMKL staff plenty of entries to vote on. There will not be a theme provided for BGR as it will stretch throughout one or more festivals, but we always encourage you all to build in theme to whatever is occurring in the game.
BGR contestants cannot win consecutive quarters for the same competition and will not be considered for participation for consecutive quarters, meaning: if you win Best Guest Room in one quarter, you cannot participate in the following quarter’s Best Guest Room competition. You may still participate in Best Game Room.
Separate building competitions such as a Building Blitz or festival related building event may still occur during these time periods and will be announced via Newsletter and Discord. Going forward, room building competitions will be considered an event that is being held for longer than a week, whereas a Building Blitz will be a shorter, more sporadic competition that will take place with less frequency.
We hope that with these changes, we will be able to see beautifully executed designs and ideas without the stress of a short timeline. We can’t wait to see what you create!
