Well? Was that festival not an absolute FAIRYTALE?! You know what's next right...? YAWN
We're now officially in Off Season! It's time for a nap. Well... sort of... there's actually a lot of fun in store for you this August! There'll hardly be any time for rest (unless ya need it)!
I need you to promise me that you'll read this whole newsletter because there is some awesome news to share. AAAAALL the way to the end!

We are actively looking for new members of our staff team! Our application process has been updated and we now have a "VMK Legacy Staff Team Interest Form." Our Off Season prize pool is back in the stone! (with some new goodies perhaps?)

Looking for even MORE fun? Make sure you join us at our next Community Event! Staff members from our Guest Experience Team (GET) regularly schedule fun activities and get togethers both in game and on Discord.

Take a look at one of the last Community Events we had... at the pool!

As a general rule of thumb, our community events do not explicitly give out prizes or rewards.

Once a month, guests can attend a pin trading event at the top of the guest rooms list, where they can trade pins with staff!

Guests can collect up to six exclusive pins, or trade for pins they’re missing if one appears on a staff member’s lanyard.
Please note that staff-exclusive pins are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis! Additional details, such as eligible pin criteria and how event-exclusive pins will be distributed, can be found on the event page. Be sure to review all information before attending!

Did you attend our impromptu 'Main Street Magic Shop Checkers' sneak peek during our Fireworks beta testing? Well... the time has come to beta test yet another mini-game! 

Because this game requires an opponent, our public beta test will be ongoing and available for guests to play whenever you'd please!

The purpose of this beta test is to fine-tune any remaining bugs or glitches before an official public release. So please keep an eye out for any bugs & report it using our bug form (see below!)

We hope you enjoy and cannot wait to officially release Main Street Magic Shop Checkers in the future!

RE: BUG REPORTING
Our internal systems for bug report data collection has greatly improved. In order to best diagnose your bugs, we ask you to keep the following in mind:

- If your bug is occurring in game, report the bug immediately after it occurs using the in-game bug reporting tool. This tool can be found by clicking the "Help" button in your toolbar and navigating to the tab that says "Bug Report." Submitting as soon as possible after the bug happens allows our new systems to collect incidental data that could be relevant to what is making the bug happen. Make sure to be as detailed as possible so we can resolve your bug sooner!
- The web based bug reporting system should be primarily used in cases where you are unable to submit a report in-game OR if your bug relates to website features instead of in-game.

 Help us help our community by reminding friends and other players to submit in the best place based on what they are seeing. See a bug being talked about? Remind them to report it as soon as possible!

RE: KNOWLEDGE BASE SUBMISSIONS

A big thank you to all of the dedicated guests that have been submitting any missing or inaccurate KB listings. We routinely check that entry log and will work on getting all of those submissions addressed.

The VMK Legacy Staff Team is looking for qualified applicants to join our team! At this time, we are searching for applicants for the positions in bold+underlined, however below is a description of all positions on the VMK Legacy staff team.

🖌️ Digital Artist – responsible for creating new in-game content including clothing, furniture, and pins

🎢 HOST – responsible for in-game events, including room creation and event supervision
**We are excited to announce that we are now casting for experienced and capable quest-writers! As we approach the release of in-game Quests, we want to expand our team to keep up with this added feature of engagement. We are looking for talented and creative writers to join our HOST Department. 

💻 Game or Web Development – responsible for coding new in-game features and website content

📝 Public Relations – responsible for social media and writing publications used to promote the game

📰 Graphic Design – responsible for graphical content related to branding of the game (note: this role is under "PR" however if any interested applicants are specifically skilled in graphic design we would love for you to still apply!)

✨ Guest Experience Team – responsible for moderation of the game and Discord
