Ribbon - AIDS: In honor of World AIDS Day, pick up a special pin in remembrance of all those affected by AIDS and HIV. World AIDS day is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

GET_Togethers are events that are hosted in our Discord server by the Guest Experience Team. These events may be anything from puzzles to word searches to scavenger hunts and will take place a minimum of twice per month. GET_Togethers are a way for us to come together and have some fun with the community, and that’s not all! You, the community, will have a part in deciding our activities! Either a Discord announcement or a newsletter will contain a link to a survey that every player can participate in to choose either the activity, the theme of the activity, or the materials for the upcoming month’s activity. Each player that completes the survey will receive 2000 credits, regardless of if they attend the events that month or not. Attending the event for the required timeframes as outlined at the time of the event will result in a special prize which will only be available for that month.
The voting form for December’s GET_Together events is now open! Votes must be submitted by Tuesday, December 5th by closing.

Each Day through Christmas Day, there is a chance that our NPCs have a gift to give you! Visit them daily to have a chance to win a special pin.
It's Holiday Break and you know what that means! ‘Tis the season of taking a load off, kicking your feet up by the fire, and spending time with your loved ones from near to far. All around the world people gather to celebrate the various holidays of the season.
In honor of these holidays, we are proud to present the **Holiday Break Quest!**
This quest will run for five weeks and each week we will be celebrating a different holiday!
Week 1 - 12.4 - 12.10 - Diwali
Week 2 - 12.11 - 12.17 - Hanukkah
Week 3 - 12.18-12.24 - Christmas
Week 4 - 12.26-12.30 - Kwanzaa
Week 5 - 12.31 - 1.6 - New Years
Each holiday will receive its own unique gift. Collect all five, and you will receive a special grand prize at the very end of the quest! You must have all five holiday gifts in your inventory to receive the grand prize.

The first holiday we are celebrating is Diwali!
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights is a Hindu festival celebrated in India and around the world! It represents light over darkness and good over evil.
During Diwali, people decorate their homes with colorful rangoli designs, light up their homes with diyas, and send off fireworks, lighting up the night! Families gather together for traditional foods and sweets, and exchange gifts with loved ones.

The VMK Legacy Staff Team is looking for qualified applicants to join our team! At this time, we are searching for applicants for the following positions:
🖌️ Digital Artist – responsible for creating new in-game content including clothing, furniture, and pins
🎢 HOST – responsible for in-game events, including room creation and event supervision
💻 Game or Web Development – responsible for coding new in-game features and website content
📰 Graphic Design – responsible for graphical content related to branding of the game
📝 Public Relations – responsible for social media and writing publications used to promote the game
✨ Guest Experience Team – responsible for moderation of the game and Discord

The Legacy Contributor Program is looking for guests with skills in Digital Art and Graphic Design. The program will allow for LC members to submit their art and designs to be considered for use in-game and in the community. We realize there are many players who have significant nostalgia related to the CL program, so we plan to expand the scope of our LC program to allow for players to contribute in ways that do not require digital art or graphic design skills in the future.
