GET_Togethers are events that are hosted in our Discord server by the Guest Experience Team. These events may be anything from puzzles to word searches to scavenger hunts and will take place a minimum of twice per month. GET_Togethers are a way for us to come together and have some fun with the community, and that’s not all! You voted and we listened! Check out our event calendar for upcoming GET_Together's this month.
During this special time of celebration, our events will provide many opportunities for engagement within the community! Keep an eye out on the calendar for extra special events with many differing prizes coming soon.
Due to our celebrations and additional prizes for special events we're doing something different this fesitval: there will be no regular HOST events!
Since there are no regular events, there will be no monthly HOST winning or consolation prize for July.

As a reminder:
- If you participated in 6 out of 7 Spirit Days then you had an opportunity to get "make-up credit" for that missed day by attending the parade! (If you received the 2x Gold Treasure Keys from the parade then we logged your attendance)
If you unfortunately missed more than (1) Spirit Day, that's okay! We will be giving guests the opportunity to earn the Spirit Jersey from the bundle with a fun activity later this month (the 26th & the 31st!) stay tuned for further instructions.
WOW, that parade was something wasn't it!? A lot has changed since we first ran "Legacy on Parade" back in 2023 and that shows with this brand new parade!

We are proud to announce our upcoming (& ongoing) festival series: E-TICKET THRILLS
Join us in riding through 4 thrilling attractions at the Disney Parks to celebrate the Legacy of Storytelling! So much creativity & dedication goes into developing these attractions in real life and we wanted to highlight just a tiny bit of that by experiencing it virtually here on VMKL!
We hope you enjoyed the OG VMK recreation of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' ride last week.
This week: we're bringing you back to 'Tiana's Bayou Adventure' for a splash!
We still have TWO more attractions to ride through but you'll have to wait until August to experience that magic! See you then!
We are pleased to present ‘The Key to Imagination!’ Throughout the rest of the festival, you have the opportunity to answer some fun trivia questions about the magic of Imagineering. How’s that for the legacy of storytelling?! Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) has played a pivotal role in developing the attractions we have come to love at the various Disney parks. So much of the magic we experience at the parks are a direct result of the magic-like attention to detail that these skilled engineers and creatives put in. From sailing the seas on Pirates of the Caribbean to joyfully celebrating on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: guests are whisked away from reality & dropped right into the story! Speaking of those two attractions… by now you’ve experienced our virtual recreation of those two rides through our E-Ticket Thrills Ride-A-Thon! “The Key to Imagination” is a companion activity to this event. In addition to the general imagineering questions, you’ll also be asked questions about the very ride you’re embarking on… so pay attention!
When the event starts: a google form will be posted for completion (& added to the event listing on our homepage for easy NON-DISCORD-ONLY access).The form will be available until the game closes tonight but the ride will only be available for the event time slot!
Your reward for answering all 10 questions correctly is a “E-Ticket Thrills: Pirates of the Caribbean” pin! There will be a total of FOUR Volumes (one for each E-Ticket Thrill!) and each will be run (2) times.
All guests who “unlock” the Key to Imagination (ha! Get it?!) by owning at least one of each “E-Ticket Thrill pin” will receive a special prize bundle!
Extra notes:
We will not be accepting resubmissions: complete your form carefully!
If you participate today, you are welcome to participate again tomorrow (& you can win another pin!)
Guests will only be able to redeem (1) prize for completing a full E-Ticket Thrills pinset.
The pins will not be tradable until after the festival!

We are pleased to announce the Official launch/release of the Pirates of the Caribbean mini-game!
The official launch of POTC means that the Bronze, Silver, & Gold chests have been updated with a brand new prize pool! We hope you enjoy the new loot and wish you luck! (In case you were wondering, YES, we do have plans to implement the SITS UI to the Treasure Chests. In the meantime, please continue to redeem your keys by equipping them onto your lanyard.)
The VMK Legacy Staff Team is looking for qualified applicants to join our team! At this time, we are searching for applicants for the positions in bold+underlined, however below is a description of all positions on the VMK Legacy staff team.
🖌️ Digital Artist – responsible for creating new in-game content including clothing, furniture, and pins
🎢 HOST – responsible for in-game events, including room creation and event supervision
💻 Game or Web Development – responsible for coding new in-game features and website content
📝 Public Relations – responsible for social media and writing publications used to promote the game
📰 Graphic Design – responsible for graphical content related to branding of the game (note: this role is under "PR" however if any interested applicants are specifically skilled in graphic design we would love for you to still apply!)
✨ Guest Experience Team – responsible for moderation of the game and Discord

VMK Legacy introduced 'The Legacy Contributor' program in efforts to give talented guests a way to contribute to the magic! We realize there are many players who have significant nostalgia related to the CL program, so we plan to expand the scope of our LC program to allow for players to contribute in ways that do not require digital art or graphic design skills in the future. At this time our program is not accepting applications as the program is being reimagined!
